You can take a tour of downtown Savannah's Landmark Historic District, home to many shops and restaurants, by foot, trolley or carriage. Visit Savannah during one of their festivals for food and live music. In March you can be a part of the St. Patrick's Day celebration. Visit the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace or Mighty 8th Air Force Museum for a history lesson.
You have many options when it comes to accommodations in Savannah. To get to Savannah, you can fly into Savannah Hilton Head International Airport. The DOT shuttle is a complimentary service to help visitors get around the city. The CAT shuttle connects Savannah to other nearby counties, and is also free.
