    • You can take a tour of downtown Savannah's Landmark Historic District, home to many shops and restaurants, by foot, trolley or carriage. Visit Savannah during one of their festivals for food and live music. In March you can be a part of the St. Patrick's Day celebration. Visit the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace or Mighty 8th Air Force Museum for a history lesson.

    • You have many options when it comes to accommodations in Savannah. Hilton and Hyatt are big names in the hotel industry, and you will find both downtown near Forsyth Park and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. There are also a few charming bed and breakfasts to choose from in the Historic District.

    • To get to Savannah, you can fly into Savannah Hilton Head International Airport. The DOT shuttle is a complimentary service to help visitors get around the city. The CAT shuttle connects Savannah to other nearby counties, and is also free.
