What is the national dress for Singapore?

There is no national dress for Singapore. Due to its multi-cultural society, Singapore's national dress varies amongst the different ethnic groups. For instance, the traditional dress for Chinese Singaporeans is the samfu (a tunic suit) for men and the cheongsam (a long dress) for women, while the traditional dress for Malay Singaporeans is the baju kurung (a loose-fitting tunic and trousers) for men and the baju kebaya (a long dress) for women.
