• Declare the alcohol to customs upon arrival in Australia.
• Comply with the Australian duty-free allowance for alcohol. The allowance is:
• 2.5L (5 bottles) of wine or spirits
• 1.25L (2.5 bottles) of wine plus up to 1L (2 bottles) of spirits
• Pay any applicable duties, taxes or charges on alcohol that exceeds the duty-free limit.
It is important to note that the Australian duty-free limits apply to any alcohol you bring into the country, including alcohol purchased in Singapore Airport and any other overseas locations. If you are planning to bring more than the duty-free limit, you must declare it to customs and pay the applicable duties and taxes.
