Airplane Boarding Security Ticket Rules

For the safety of all travelers, there have been some basic security rules set in place. TSA advises each traveler to keep their bags packed as efficiently as possible, and to only carry on items that are absolutely necessary. Because of increased security, checking all your belongings can make security checkpoints run more smoothly. When in doubt, simplify and follow these guidelines as closely as possible. If there are any concerns, contact your specific airline.
    • All passengers and bags are checked by security before boarding a plane.

    • You will need a boarding pass and government-issued photo ID.

    • All metal found on your person will be subject to further search, including underwire bras and body piercings.

    • All outerwear will be required to go through the X-ray machine for inspection.

    • 311 rule for carry-ons:

3: All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in bottles that are 3.4 ounces or smaller. (Larger containers that are half empty are not permitted.)

1: All your liquid items must be placed into one quart size, zip-top clear plastic bag. Each traveler is permitted one bag.
