What is malis money?

The currency of Mali is the West African CFA franc (XOF). It is issued by the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and is used by eight countries in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo. The CFA franc is pegged to the euro at a fixed exchange rate of 1 euro = 655.957 CFA francs.
