What money do Romania use?

Romania uses the Romanian leu (plural: lei), abbreviated as RON. The leu is the official currency of Romania and has been in circulation since 1867, when it replaced the Romanian franc. The leu was pegged to the French franc until World War I and then to the US dollar until 1971. In 1972, the leu was devalued and allowed to float freely, fluctuating against other currencies.
