Taking a trip to Las Vegas is a sure way to relax and have some fun. Knowing the right resources to use to book a group trip will save you time and money, and will ensure that you get the most out of your travels.

      Research information for your trip. Ths will include flight, hotel and any other ammenities you'll need. Two excellent sites to help you with your preparation are Travelocity and Groople (see Resources). Travlocity provides a list of airlines, hotels and vacation site suggestions that you can take advantage of. Groople is a site organized specifically for group travel. It allows you to plan and book group travel online. You will need to be prepared with a list of dates your group plans to travel and a time range in which you all would like to depart and return. Click on "Vacation Packages" or take advantage of some of the predetermined group trips (e.g., "Reunions," "Student Trips") that Groople has to offer. These feature will allow you to book your trip as a combination of flight, hotel and other accomodations.

      Arrange your hotel. Groople gives you the option of finding the hotel that is best suited for your group, and browse bargains for booking group hotels. You will have the option of choosing between a "Classic Vegas" trip, "Luxury Vegas" trip or to explore other "Hot Deals." For example, if your group chooses a "Luxury Vegas" trip, you'll have the choice of staying at the Bellagio or MGM Grand Hotel. "Hot Deals" will allow you to find special deals on excellent hotels that give you bargains like getting a free night in the hotel of your choice, depending on how many days your group is staying.

      Research your group trip details. Think about what kind of shows and activities your group wants to do while in Vegas. Travelocity allows you to click on a link to activities based on your destination. It even has certain activities selected by the dates you plan to visit. You can choose between "outdoor activities," "dining," "Vegas shows" and many more. The different sites allow you to preview what each attraction offers, the price and allows you to book on site. Groople offers a very unique service for group travelers: it allows you to create a "My Group Trip" page and communicate online with other members of your group to select the specific details of the getaway.
