COVID-19: All travellers to Italy, regardless of their nationality or origin, must present the Digital COVID Certificate (or equivalent certificate) with proof of vaccination, recovery from COVID-19, or a negative test to enter the country
- Must have taken place at least 14 days before arrival in Italy
- No time limit for validity of COVID-19 recovery certificates
- Negative test results, valid for 72 hours for rapid tests and 120 hours for PCR tests, must be taken no more than 72/120 hours before entry to Italy
- Italian citizens, legal residents of Italy and family members of European Union citizens or persons with a certified right of residence in Italy, and children aged 6 years or younger are exempt from this testing requirement
- Travellers over the age of 5 must continue to comply with mask requirements.
- Anyone with a temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be allowed on their flight to Italy
Yellow Fever: If traveling from a yellow-fever endemic area, proof of vaccination against yellow fever is recommended
