Purpose:
IYMs aim to promote peace and understanding among young people from different countries and backgrounds. They provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn about themselves and others, challenge their assumptions, and build friendships that span borders.
Participants:

IYMs offer a wide range of activities, including:
* Cultural exchanges: Participants learn about different cultures by visiting local schools, museums, and historical sites. They also have the opportunity to share their own culture with others.
* Sports and games: Participants participate in a variety of sports and games to promote teamwork and cooperation.
* Workshops: Participants attend workshops on topics such as peace-building, conflict resolution, and human rights.
* Community service: Participants engage in community service projects to give back to the communities they are visiting.
