Stuff as many items as you can in each sneaker. Depending on the size of the sneakers, you may have enough space to include items such as socks, disposable earplugs, bars of soap and jewelry.
Roll your clothes tightly or, if they are inclined to wrinkle, lay them flat at the bottom of the luggage container. Avoid merely folding your clothes and stacking them on one another because this will leave less room for your shoes.
Leave toiletries at home, or take only travel-sized ones. For instance, bring a mini-hair brush instead of a full-size hair brush. Better yet, just purchase a new set of toiletries when you arrive at your destination.
Carry or wear as many items as possible. If you are traveling from a warm location to a cold destination, for example, then carry your coat instead of packing it. Or if you intend to go hiking, then wear your hiking boots and put your regular shoes in your suitcase.
Store small items like like cell phone, tickets, your passport, your wallet and reading materials in the outer pockets of your luggage container if you are taking an automobile trip. Refrain from doing this if you are taking an airplane voyage.
Line the perimeter of your luggage container with your belts so that they do not take up valuable space that could be used for larger items.
Place your sneakers on their sides at the bottom of the luggage container so that they are facing each other, toe to heel. Tuck them toward a corner if possible, and cover them from all sides with clothes. Clothes are flexible enough to conform to the sneakers' shapes.
