How to Make Self-Laminated Luggage Tags

They not only let you quickly identify your luggage, but are essential for the transportation company to find your lost luggage if needed. Making a sturdy luggage tag at home is possible when using lamination sheets, which can be found online or at your closest office supply store.

Things You'll Need

• Thin cardboard
• Scissors
• Address labels
• Luggage tag self-laminating sheets with slots, 2 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches
• Luggage tag plastic loops

     Make the base of your luggage tag by cutting a thin piece of cardboard into a two-by-four-inch strip.

     Place an address label on each side of the cardboard, approximately an inch from each end.

     Open the self-laminating sheets and place the cardboard inside. Make sure it is centered before pressing the laminating sheets together.

     Add the plastic loop and place it on your luggage.
