For tourist visas, you may be required to provide the following documents:
- A valid passport with at least six months validity
- A completed visa application form
- Two passport-size photos
- Proof of sufficient financial means to support your stay in the Dominican Republic
- A round-trip ticket or proof of onward travel
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of arrival in the Dominican Republic. You will be able to stay in the Dominican Republic for up to 30 days on a tourist visa. If you plan to stay for longer, you will need to apply for an extension of stay at the Dominican Republic's immigration office.
Please note that Dominican customs authorities have strict restrictions on the import of some items, including agricultural products and medications. It is important to declare all items you are bringing into the Dominican Republic and to keep receipts for any purchases you make.
