Find a job. It will be easiest to get a work visa if you work in a field in which you have a college degree or plentiful skills.
Inform your new boss you need a work visa. You will not be able to legally work without a European work visa, and your employer must apply for the visa for you. This can be a really quick or complex process depending on the type of job. The employer must provide information about the type of job, the skills you have and your salary level.
Gather all necessary documents. The documents you need will be listed on the visa application and can vary from location to location. However, in most cases, you will need a valid passport, proof of living arrangements or address and a letter from your employer.
Return the approval form. If you are accepted for a European work visa, you will receive a letter stating your approval. Take this letter, all your documents and the filing fee to the local registry office.
Register at the local police station. You must be a resident of the area, so file all necessary paper work with the local police force.
