Go to the AA Route Planner website.
Step 2: Select your start and end points
Enter the start and end points of your journey in the "From" and "To" fields. Ensure you select the correct cities or towns from the autofill options.
Step 3: Choose your preferred route
Select your preferred route by clicking on the different route options, such as "Fastest", "Shortest," or "Scenic". You can also click on the "Via" field to specify any intermediate stop along the journey.
Step 4: Check journey details
Review the journey details, including the distance, estimated travel time, and route highlights. The AA Route Planner provides an overview map and turn-by-turn directions for your trip.
Step 5: Plan stops and check traffic conditions
Click on the "Stops" tab to add fuel stops or other points of interest to your journey. The AA Route Planner will calculate the estimated time and distance for each stop. You can also check current traffic conditions by selecting "Traffic" from the menu bar.
Step 6: Customize your preferences
In the "Options" tab, you can customize your journey by selecting preferences, such as the vehicle type (car, motorcycle, or van) and fuel consumption (miles per gallon).
Step 7: Print your route plan
Once you have finalized your route, click on the "Print" button to save or print the journey details and directions. Alternatively, you can save your route as a PDF or send it to your email for easy access during your trip.
