The town of Mountville, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, lies just west of the city of Lancaster and east of the Susquehanna River. The area is also known as "Pennsylvania Dutch Country," which refers to the large number of Germans settlers, most notably the Amish, who settled there as far back as the 1600s. The area attracts a steady stream of tourists each year.

    • The Sleep Inn & Suites, part of a chain of motels around the country, is located within the Mountville city limits, just across Route 30 from the main street and old part of town. The motel is particularly close to the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater and the National Clock Museum, both of which are technically in nearby Lancaster.     • Located a couple of miles east of Mountville, the Lancaster Amish Country Travelodge is even closer to the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. In fact, several Amish restaurants are nearby, as well as the on-site Three Crown German Lounge. Each of the standard-sized rooms comes with cable television, a micro-fridge and a complimentary breakfast. The ample parking is built to accommodate buses and trucks, and for large groups of visitors, the motel provides an on-site meeting hall. Pets are welcome at the Travelodge for an extra fee.

    Comfort Inn

    • The Comfort Inn Lancaster, although technically located in Columbia, is literally a mile down the road from the town of Mountville and a few steps closer to the Susquehanna River and the regional McGinness Airport. Some nearby attractions include the National Toy Museum and, for warm weather visitors, the Nissley Vineyards & Winery Estate. The motel accommodations include standard guest rooms with refrigerators and microwaves, and hotel guests are welcome to a complimentary waffle breakfast. Other hotel amenities include an exercise room, indoor pool and coin-operated laundry service.
