Tours of the naval base at Norfolk, Virginia are operated by the Naval Station and by Tidewater Tours. Tours, which are given by Navy members, last 45 minutes and cover a variety of aspects of the base, including aircraft carriers stationed there. Tour pricing varies based on age---as of 2010, tours cost $10 for people between 12 and 60, and $5 for everyone else. Picture IDs are required for all adults participating in the tours.
