Choose your flight. When purchasing online tickets, you have the option of inputting your desired travel date and fare options such coach/economy, first class or business class.
Select the flight provided based on your specifications. Look at the selected flight times, class and airfare suggested for those tickets. Check the provided seat map to select the seats you like best from the available options.
Verify the airfare, class and seat numbers you selected before paying for your tickets online. Once you pay for the tickets, print out the provided itinerary to take to the airport on the day you leave.
If you opt to purchase tickets at the airline ticket counter, you will be provided a boarding pass after you pay. Depending on the airline, you will be able to see exactly where you are sitting, whether coach, business or first class. For example, a Delta Air Lines boarding pass has the class and seat listed on the right-hand side.
