The Fall River YMCA offers several classes for parents and their infants. Swimming classes and open swim, for instance, are offered daily at the facility's indoor pool. There is also a children's play area where infants can crawl around and explore and watch bigger kids play and do art projects. This YMCA location has been serving the Fall River community for over 150 years.

The Fall River Carousel is part of the Battleship Cove attraction in Fall River. While infants are too young to enjoy looking at the Navy ships, your little one might enjoy a ride on the carousel with you standing next to him for moral and physical support. The carousel was built in 1920 and is made of wood. Rides cost $1, or $5 for seven rides. The carousel is open from 11 a.m until 5 p.m. daily from June 28 through October 11, and on weekends only from May 25 through June 27. It is closed to the general public during winter and spring, but is open year-round for birthday parties and other special events reserved in advance.
