Oxygen Bars in Chicago

Oxygen bars started in the East and later moved to the United States. They swept across the country during the late 1990s and have become a social gathering for those who want to experience breathing pure oxygen. Oxygen bars hit Chicago in 1999, but, according to the "Daily Northwestern," they are less popular in Chicago than in other locations. Expect to pay around $12 for 15 to 20 minutes of oxygen.
