  1. Strawberry Park Hot Springs

    • Strawberry Park Hot Springs is about 10 minutes outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Visitors head to Strawberry Park Hot Springs to relax in 104-degree Fahrenheit mineral water all year round. The park features rustic overnight lodging cabins, a covered wagon, a train caboose and camping options nearby. Guests must be 18 to stay after dark, when clothing is optional. Bathing suits are required during the day. As of June 2010, admission was $10 for adults, $5 for teens and $3 for kids. Credit cards are not accepted. Therapeutic massages are available as well.

    Trimble Hot Springs

    • Trimble Hot Springs is just north of Durango, Colorado, in the Animas Valley. Trimble offers two naturally heated pools, a seasonal 50-meter swimming pool and two saunas. There are also two lodging options if you wish to stay the night: the Starlight Room and the Guesthouse at Trimble. Both include free access to the mineral pools. However, you do not need to stay at the property to use the pools. As of June 2010, admission was $14 for adults and $9.50 for children and seniors; kids 5 and under were free. Various spa services are available, including massages.

    Cottonwood Hot Springs Inn & Health Spa

    • This Old West-style inn borders the Cottonwood Creek and is surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest in Buena Vista, Colorado. The hot springs area is nestled high in the Collegiate Peaks Range. The original structures are protected by National Forest preservation groups, which prohibit any change to the natural environment. There is a no-alcohol policy on the premises, which are open all year. Massages and other spa services are also available on site. Admission is $15 per person, or $10 per person younger than 16. Admission includes access to the four large soaking pools and dry sauna. Optional lodging includes rustic cabins, hotel rooms and tent-camping sites nearby.
