Independent Bar is a dance club and music venue located in downtown Orlando. The club hosts three full-service bars, two dance floors and an outdoor patio with cafe-style seating. Overlooking the main dance floor is the upper level, which guests can get to by walking up a steep spiral staircase. The club hosts weekly events such as Wednesday Necropolis, featuring goth and industrial music; Tuesday Grits and Gravy, featuring soul and old school rock; and Sunday 80s nights. Many nights allow minors aged 18 and up, and the cover charge varies--check calendar for details. Independent bar is closed on Mondays.

Eye Spy is an espionage-themed bar and dance club next to the Independent Bar in downtown Orlando. Guests should be on guard for hidden cameras, some of which broadcast their actions to the large-screen TV in the bar's main room. Behind a bookshelf, guests will find a hidden room with a pool table. Eye Spy also offers pinball and a photo booth machine. Music here is a mix of 80s, 90s and contemporary hits, and there is never a cover charge to get into the Eye Spy. First time visitors may have trouble finding the bar, which has a hidden back entrance.

Backbooth is a music venue and bar located in downtown Orlando. Furnished cozily with dark woods and curtains, the club is on the small side and has a capacity of 350. Backbooth hosts a range of events, from live music performances to CD release parties, dance nights and tribute acts. The club frequently has an early show and a late show, each one with a different genre of music. Weekly dance nights include Monday night Crush, Footloose Fridays and Midnight Mass Saturdays.
