Wanderlust World Wanderlust World FlipSide is a gay bar and dance club located in Liberty Plaza in downtown Salem. The interior has a large dance floor, complete with stripper poles and cages, couches and a VIP area. The club plays a range of music--expect to hear hip-hop, industrial, house, '80s and many other genres. Events range from an '80s night to drag show cabaret and foam parties. The club is open on Fridays and Saturdays only, and there is usually a minimal cover charge. FlipSide offers free parking in the Liberty Plaza Parkade.

The Silver Spur is a country-western themed bar and dance club in Northeast Salem. The club offers free line dancing classes during the week, and open dance sessions on weekends. Saturday's open dance party is usually the most popular night at the Silver Spur, despite the cover charge. The club plays country music until midnight, and then switches up the tempo with contemporary dance hits. Guests who don't feel like dancing downstairs can go upstairs to play a round of pool or order from the club's bar menu.

Roxxy Nightclub and Pizzeria is in downtown Salem near the Willamette University campus. The club is on the small side and has a raised stage and a dance floor. There is plenty of seating--people who are taking a break from dancing, or who just come in for a slice of pizza or a drink have their choice of a booth or bar stool. Entertainment varies, with some nights featuring DJs and other nights featuring live music from local and national music acts.
