Jake's Nightclub and Bar is located near Indiana University Campus, in downtown Bloomington, Indiana. The night club, which opens nightly Tuesday through Sunday, hosts local and national performers, weekly open mic nights and weekly karaoke nights. Bands that have played at Jake's include Modest Mouse, Dirks Bentley and Heartless Bastards. Jake's sells VIP access cards that allow guests to enter the building without having to stand in line or pay a cover for selected concerts and events. The nightclub also hosts weekly "Mug Night" specials that include 32-ounce specials on draft beer and mixed drinks and weekend drink specials that include discounted top-shelf liquor and imported beer.

Rhino's Youth Media Center & All-Ages Club goal is to offer tobacco-, alcohol- and drug-free entertainment to the youth of Bloomington. The dance club opens for select local, national and international musical performances and fundraisers monthly. Rhino's also offers afternoon programs--mural arts, journalism, radio and video classes--that attempt to provide area youth with an opportunity to cultivate media talents during the vital 3 to 6 p.m. time frame when parent's are still at work and kids can get into trouble on the streets.

The Bluebird is a live music entertainment venue that offers rockabilly, Americana, alternative country, rock and roll, folk, bluegrass, hip hop and reggae performances. The club opens nightly Monday through Saturday and presents weekly karaoke performances and weekly drink specials that include 15 cent domestic draft beers.
