Italy is known for food and fashion, but nightlife is also popular among residents and locals alike. Large cities like Rome and Venice host the majority of nightclubs in Italy. Clubs typically are populated by younger locals, visiting students and tourists. The dance floors don't stop until the early morning hours. Various forms of techno are the most common type of music played in Italian clubs.
