Broken City Social Scene

• Not only is the Broken City Social Scene a good dance club, it is also an excellent venue for indie rock bands, stand-up comedy and professional burlesque shows. Be sure to check out Broken City's weekly schedule before heading there. Certain events such as "Pizza and Magic: The Gathering," are not conducive to dancing the night away.

• The only GLBT dance club in Calgary, Twisted Element offers weekly themed events such as karaoke Wednesdays, Thursday strip contests and Sunday drag shows. Twisted Element advertises itself as "straight friendly" and is an all inclusive dance club with an eclectic atmosphere you won't find anywhere in Calgary.
