Kamaole I, II and III beaches cover the entire Kihei coast and are across the street from the Maui Banyan, Kama'ole II being the closest to the resort. All three beaches have lifeguards and are some of the safest family beaches on Maui. Besides swimming and tanning, you can also snorkel on all of them or learn how to surf or windsurf.
Ma'alaea Harbor close to Kihei offers fishing excursions, whale watching cruises, dinner cruises and snorkeling trips to Molokini.
Maui Banyan is next to some of the best shopping on Maui. Azeka Place is Kihei's largest shopping center, with more than 50 shops and restaurants to check out. Its location in the center of Kihei, only a short walk from the Maui Banyan, makes it your number one shopping destination.
Maui Banyan is located next to a championship level golf course named Elleair Maui Golf Club and is close to five other golf courses. Tee times are available at all these golf courses.
