How to Find the Cheapest Flights

The old adage "It pays to shop around" certainly applies to airfares. In addition to the airlines, search for the cheapest flights at discount travel websites before buying. Of course, you can check out deals at well-known sites such as Travelocity and Expedia, but you shouldn't overlook lesser-known sites when looking for cheap flights.

Look for package deals. Regardless of which source for cheap flights you use, search for package deals that include airfare, hotel and car rental. You may be able to save additional money by packaging all three together.
