General Motors manufactured the first Patton tanks in 1943, and the last Patton tanks were manufactured in 1955. The M46 Patton was the first Patton tank manufactured, followed by the M47 and the M48. The M48 Patton was the most produced Patton tank, with over 11,000 units being manufactured.
