Cheap Hotels in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Golden sands, old wooden Buddhist temples and rare conch shells are a few of the reasons that Cox's Bazar is considered the tourist capital of Bangladesh. Located just south of Chittagong, the primary seaport, Cox's Bazar offers fresh seafood and beckons a stroll along the world's longest -- 120 kilometers -- natural sea beach, which slopes into the Bay of Bengal. Lodging in Cox's Bazar can be pricey, but with a little legwork before your arrival, you can find inexpensive hotels close to the water.
