Several cruise lines cater to family passengers and often promote special packages that allow kids to sail at no cost.     • MSC Cruises offers promotions that allow kids to sail free. MSC boasts a fleet of 11 ships that include MSC Splendida, MSC Magnifica and MSC Fantasia.       As of 2010, MSC offers a special promotion that allows kids age 17 and under to sail at no cost for European cruises during the spring and summer seasons.     • Cruises such as MSC and Disney welcome families on board and maintain programs filled with entertainment and games. MSC has a Children's Center dedicated to children three years old and up. Daily activities are organized per age and include painting, treasure hunts, dancing, arts and crafts and mini-Olympics.

      Disney Cruise Lines maintains youth clubs with different themes that cater to different age groups. Youth clubs include Aloft, Arr-cade, D Lounge, Disney's Oceaneer Club and Flounder's Reef Nursery. Edge is at Deck 13 aboard the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream cruises for kids ages 11 through 13. Activities include playing video games, watching TV, listening to music and surfing the web.
