Judson's Gondola Bar and Motel is close to Sugarloaf Ski Mountain. The motel has 15 guest rooms, special events and live music. As of 2010, Judson's is refurbishing five of the 15 guest rooms into dorm rooms to provide even more affordable housing. Judson's also plans to offer guided expeditions such as fishing, hiking and rafting adventures. Judson's private room rates start at around $45 per night. The Gondola Bar offers specials such as free pool and happy hours as well as live entertainment. Judson's Motel also sponsors an annual game of snow softball, with proceeds going to the Maine Special Olympics.

Three Stanley Avenue Bed and Breakfast is a small hotel located in the town of Kingfield, less than 14 miles from Carrabassett Valley. The hotel is close to the woods and has its own restaurant. Three Stanley Avenue Bed and Breakfast has six rooms, three with private baths and three that share two baths. As of 2010, rates for the shared bathrooms are cheaper, going for $70 per night during the ski season of December through March, and then going down to $45 for single rates April to November, breakfast included. You can also get this discounted rate by booking in the middle of the week during high season. Private rooms are not much more--$75 per night during ski season, and $70 the rest of the year--although you can also get cheaper rates for these by booking midweek days.

All rates include a continental breakfast.
