You will save a lot of money on your cruise by booking ahead. As a rule of thumb try to book atleast 4 - 8 months ahead of time to get the best deal.
Note: Also remember to avoid taking your cruise during peak season . Peak season in the cruise industry is usually during the late spring and early summer months, most cruise lines will bump up their prices during this time.
