How to Sail on an NCL Jewel Cruise With Kids

The Norwegian Jewel cruise ship was designed with family travel and kids activities as a priority. The idea is to keep children of all ages engaged while the adults spend time in their own way. The mid-section of Deck 12 on the Jewel is dedicated solely to children with many programs. Nickelodeon games and characters are exclusive to Norwegian ships. Then there is the Splashdown Kid's Club, the Kid's Crew and Teen's Crew activities and a pool just for kids. All children's programs are complimentary. Sailing on an NCL Jewel cruise with kids is an unforgettable adventure.

Sign up your kids for the ship's age-appropriate groups. The Kid's Crew is for ages 2 to 12, and is divided into juniors (ages 2 to 5), first mates (ages 6 to 9) and navigators (ages 10 to 12). Each group participates in supervised games, classes, crafts and activities.

The Splashdown Kid's Club near the main swimming pools features a library, a video arcade and the kid's pool.

The Teen's Crew club for ages 13 to 17 is located in the teen center, where teens can participate in supervised theme parties, group sports, games and activities. The Club Underground resembles a New York subway and features graffiti on the walls.
