Where and when did the last stagecoach robbery take place?

On September 18, 1924, the Dalton Boys, a group of Oklahoma outlaws, robbed the American Railroad Express near Coffeyville, Kansas. The robbery was unsuccessful and the Dalton Brothers were killed in a shootout with law enforcement. This is considered to be the last stagecoach robbery in the United States.
