• Rockport is just outside Brockville and offers scenic cruises with several different packages from which to choose. From a non-stop, two-hour cruise through the Thousand Islands region to castle tour cruises to lunch and dinner cruises, Rockport has an option to meet the needs of the short-term visitor or those who want to make a day of it. The company's cruises run May to October. Children and senior citizens get special rates, and every boat is handicapped accessible. Private 1000 Islands Boat Tours

• Explore the islands uniquely in a 24-foot boat that, according to the website, will take you to places the bigger boats can't go, and at a faster pace. Weaving in and out of the bays and channels, passengers will see mansions along the way--not to mention hearing stories of the rich history in the Thousands Islands region. The company will pick you up and drop you off at any of the island parks and/or take you wherever you want to go. The tours typically begin and end at Ivy Lea, but according to the website, the Private 1000 Islands Boat Tours will pick you up and drop you off anywhere along the nearby coast. Rides are reservation only and each boat holds eight people.
