Windjammer Caribbean Cruises

Travelers to the Caribbean often enjoy the warm, ocean waters beach-side, but windjammer cruises offer a very different perspective. Cruising on a windjammer offers a way to see several islands within a few days as opposed to spending all your time on a single island. Sailing on tall ships, travelers cover more ground and visit more islands than a typical cruise.
  1. Royal Clipper

    • The Royal Clipper is the flagship of the Star Clippers' line and is the largest full-rigged sailing ship in the world. The ship features 19,000 square feet of deck space, including three swimming pools, giving passengers a chance to spread out and enjoy the Caribbean views. If you are willing to brave the heights, you can climb up to the crow's nest for an even more spectacular view. The ship's interior is just as luxurious as the decks and includes a three-level dining area and a three-deck atrium that spills sunlight deep into the ship. Cruises on the Royal Clipper last seven days and sail through the Grenadines and the other Windward Caribbean Islands.

    Diamont

    • The Diamont is a brigantine schooner ideal for those who truly want to get away from the crowds. The ship carries only 12 passengers and travels a leisurely eight knots. The six-night cruises sail out of Port Louis, Grenada and travels through the Grenadine Islands. With 600 islands dotting the chain, each cruise is never exactly the same as the one that came before. Instead of the larger, more populated islands that cruise ships are forced to frequent because of their sheer size, the Diamont is able to sneak into smaller, sometimes uninhabited islets such as the Tobago Cays.
