The Disney Dream ship is family-friendly and suitable for most families with its 3-D movies, live performances and Disney musicals. Adults can dance the night away at the ship's many nightclubs, or they can spend relaxing evenings in any of the ship's 19 lounges and bars.

A five-day Western Caribbean Cruise departs Mobile, Alabama, each August on the Carnival Elation ship. The Carnival Elation boasts an Internet cafe, City Sports Park, Camp Carnival for children and its Casablanca Casino. This voyage takes guests to Progreso, a seaside resort in Yucatan, Mexico, and then to Cozumel, Mexico (well-known as a prime diving spot), with two days at sea before returning to Mobile. The prices as of October 2010 are $689 for a suite, $409 for ocean view and $369 for an interior room.

The Norwegian Spirit takes cruise ship guests to the western Caribbean for seven nights. The ship leaves New Orleans in August.
