Spring Break Caribbean Cruises

The timing of spring break varies from college to college, but usually occurs in March after midterms in the spring semester. It is a perfect opportunity for college students to spend time with friends and travel to exotic locations. One of the more popular options for students is to take a cruise on their spring break vacation to the Caribbean to enjoy warm weather, different countries and scenic beaches.
  1. Royal Caribbean Cruises

    • Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines offers several options for spring break cruises to the Caribbean. There are five different seven-day spring break cruise options from Royal Caribbean on the company's fleet of large cruise ships, including the Oasis of the Seas, the Allure of the Seas and the Freedom of the Seas. The company also offers a five-day spring break cruise on its Radiance of the Seas ship.

The cruises depart from Tampa or Fort Lauderdale, Florida or San Juan, Puerto Rico, depending on which cruise you select. The cruises visit Caribbean locations including Cozumel and Costa Maya. The ships feature extensive dining options, shopping, dance clubs, bars and gambling on board along with excursions during the day when the cruise ship is docked. The price for the cruises as of 2010 ranges from $600 to $1,000, though the price varies greatly based on room sizes and preferences.
