Gray Line Bus Tours in New York City

Gray Line conducts year-round tours for those wishing to experience the diverse sights and sounds of New York City. Gray Line's double-decker buses and luxury motor coaches provide the transportation to the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Broadway and Central Park. The Big Apple's expansive supply of museums, landmarks, restaurants, towering buildings, stores and countless other attractions also can be visited.
  1. All-Loops Double-Decker Tour

    • Gray Line's best-selling New York City bus tour boasts hop-on, hop-off privileges, touring more than 50 stops through Brooklyn and Manhattan. After you purchase your ticket, you have 72 hours of admission into any of the four loops, which last two to three hours each, and include the Uptown Loop, the Downtown Loop, the Brooklyn Loop and the Night Tour.

      The Uptown Loop, which departs daily between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from the Gray Line Visitors Center at 777 8th Ave., includes visits to Harlem, Central Park, the Dakota Apartments and Museum Mile.

      The Downtown Loop departs daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Broadway in Times Square, between 47th and 48th streets. The loop visits Times Square, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the World Trade Center site and Little Italy.

      Departing daily from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Brooklyn Loop leaves from the South Street Seaport every 30 minutes. Its itinerary includes the Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, the Antique Furniture District and Fulton Mall, as well as visits to 5th Avenue and 7th Avenue boutiques, stores and restaurants.

      The Night Tour visits the Empire State Building, China Town, the Manhattan Bridge, Soho and Rockefeller Center, then follows a different itinerary during the holiday season from Dec. 6 to Dec. 30. The Night Tour departs daily from Times Square, between 47th and 48th streets, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and daily from the Gray Line Visitors Center at 777 8th St. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    Harlem Gospel On Sunday And Wednesday

    • Gray Line offers a motor coach tour allowing views of the Apollo Theater, Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture, and the historic streets and homes that make up Harlem. The tour guides are deeply familiar with the famous and fabulous neighborhood. Proper attire is required to attend a Harlem church service, which is available with the exception of attending Easter service.

      The tour leaves from the Gray Line Visitors Center at 777 8th Ave. at 9 a.m. Sunday for French, German, Italian and Spanish tours. English-speaking tours leave at 9:30 p.m. Sunday from the same location. On Wednesdays, this tour, including all languages, leaves from the same location at 9 a.m. This is a four-hour tour.

    Excursion De La Ciudad/City Tour In Spanish

    • Gray Line offers a sightseeing tour of Manhattan, all in Spanish. The tour lasts between 4 and 4 1/2 hours, and departure times from the Gray Line Visitors Center at 777 8th Ave. vary according to the season. The tour, conducted in a Gray Line motor coach, visits uptown and downtown sights, including Central Park, Harlem, Museum Mile, Times Square, the Empire State Building, the United Nations, Lincoln Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral. This tour is not available Dec. 25 or Jan. 1.
