Family Catholic Volunteer Vacations

Instead of spending vacations in a resort or tourist destination, some Catholics may opt to do volunteer work together as a family. The work can be challenging but the rewards are great: the opportunity to see how others live, to grow appreciation for one's own blessings, and to help those truly in need. These programs usually involve minimal costs that cover food and shelter. Catholic volunteer programs are best for families with teenagers rather than young children.
