      The half-day tours allow visitors the choice of leaving in the morning or afternoon to enjoy three main points of interest: Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove.     • INE Tours offers day and overnight trips originating from San Francisco to Yosemite Park. San Francisco is 200 miles from the park. These guided tours provide visitors with access to the best points of interest in the park, which include Bridalviel Falls, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, Cathedral Rock and El Capitan. During the spring and summer months, the tours also transport visitors through the Giant Sequoia Trees Grove. The one-day tour lasts 14 hours with five hours in the park. The two- to three-day tours allow guests to stay in park-side cabins or lodges. These tours provide more time within the park. Tourists may select from a private SUV tour of the park, which holds anywhere from two to seven people. The private SUV tour picks up passengers from their hotel and lasts 12 hours from beginning to end. As of 2010, the price for the day tour is $139, while the overnight tours range from $355 to $845 depending on the duration of the trip and accommodations. The private SUV tour costs just over $300, as of 2010 and is only available from March to October.

    • DNC Parks & Resorts offers daily bus tours within Yosemite National Park throughout the year. This touring company offers five sightseeing tours focused on the most sought-after sights within the park. Tours range from slightly over an hour to 12 hours and vary in price and sites visited. The Valley Floor Tour is an open-air bus tour during warmer months and a closed bus tour during colder months; it provides tourists with grand vistas from the Yosemite Valley floor. The Glacier Point Tour lasts four hours and transports guests throughout Glacier Point during May to November. The Tuolumne Meadows Tour is a 12-hour tour, which transports visitors to Tuolumne Meadows and back; however, this tour only operates from July to September.
