European Bus Tours in August

Touring Europe from the comfort and convenience of a bus, or coach, is a stress-free way to experience the continent. Coach tours remove the worries of organizing details such as accommodations and transfers from destination to destination. August is vacation month in much of Europe and the number of bus tours is limited, especially in southern Europe. However, a few tours covering several countries as well as tours that focus on specific regions are available.
  1. Imperial Capitals

    • Cosmos, one of Europe's largest tour operators, has been organizing coach tours for decades. Cosmos tours provide modern, air-conditioned coaches and experienced guides. The company's 13-day Imperial City tour, with a 2010 departure from London on August 16th, includes visits to central European cities Berlin, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague. Coaches also travel scenic byways along the Rhineland and Hungary's Lake Balaton. Overnight accommodations include 3-star and 4-star hotels and the cost includes all breakfasts and some evening meals.
