Those who would like a shorter tour might consider the Ferrari Roman/Tuscan Four-Hour Tour. The tour departs twice each day, from Rome Civitavecchia Harbor at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and from Florence at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The experience includes a choice of three Ferraris, the Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California and Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, or drivers can try their hand at all three. Groups drive on the Mille Miglia race route with its steep, winding roads through hilltops near Rome and Florence. The tour begins with an official Ferrari briefing and four hours of driving the Mille Miglia. Afterwards, groups breeze through Tuscia or Chianti, then stop for an aperitif at a scenic location before you head back to Rome or Florence. The tour includes insurance, fuel and the services of a Red Travel tour director. Tours take a minimum of two people; those who wish to drive alone must pay for two.
