One of the most popular tourist destinations on the island, La Restinga National Park is a 25-kilometer lagoon and mangrove swamp. Your boat tour lasts about 40 minutes.     • Casa Trudel offers snorkeling and scuba boat trips. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to El Tirano harbor. Casa Trudel operates "peñeros," or boats typically used by local fishermen. Peñeros are 33 feet long and have 75-horsepower outboard motors. After a 40 minute boat ride, enjoy snorkeling or diving before you take a break for lunch. Enjoy a quick boat ride to a new destination, then dive or snorkel for the rest of afternoon. Your guide will take you back to El Tirano and transport you back to your hotel. Trips include all gear for snorkeling or scuba diving, lunch, drinks and all transportation.

      If you'd prefer to go fishing, Casa Trudel also offers deep-sea fishing charters off Margarita Island. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and drive you to El Tirano, where you'll meet your boat. Your day of fishing starts with a ride around the island, using trolling tackle.
