How to Go Skiing in Mt. Crescent, Iowa

The Mt. Crescent Ski Area is located in the southwest corner of Iowa near the Iowa/Nebraska state border. Situated some 13 miles northeast of Omaha, Nebraska, Mt. Crescent is a popular ski and snow trip destination for local residents for miles around. The ski area features a variety of slopes for skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing. All trails are lit for night skiing while a combination of natural snow and snow-making equipment help pack the mountainside with two to three feet of powder throughout the ski season.

    Prepare for Your Trip to Mt. Crescent

      Arrive by train to the Omaha Amtrak Station, just 20 miles from Mt. Crescent.
