What is the name of woman who reached top Mt. Everest?

The name of the first woman to reach the top of Mount Everest is Junko Tabei of Japan. She reached the summit on May 16, 1975, along with her female team members from the Japanese Women's Everest Expedition. Junko Tabei paved the way for women's mountaineering achievements and became an inspiration to future female mountaineers.
