Lake Como is located in northern Italy and has a temperate climate. During the summer months, from June to August, the average temperature of the lake is between 22°C (72°F) and 25°C (77°F). However, in the shallower areas near the shore, the water can sometimes reach temperatures up to 28°C -30°c (82 -86° F). The best time to swim in Lake Como is from mid-July to mid-September when the water is warmest.
