When will Yellowstone errupt again?

The next eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano is not imminent and is extremely unlikely to occur within our lifetime. Scientists currently estimate that the probability of a Yellowstone eruption is less than 1 in 700,000 years, and the last major eruption occurred approximately 640,000 years ago.
