Does the desert have a rainy season?

Deserts are regions that receive very little rainfall, typically less than 250 millimeters (10 inches) per year. They are characterized by sparse vegetation and a lack of permanent surface water. While some deserts may experience occasional rainfall during the year, they do not have a distinct rainy season. Instead, rainfall in deserts is usually sporadic and unpredictable.
