Correction: Pretoria is Not in Gauteng

The premise of the question contains a geographical error. Pretoria is not in the Gauteng province.

Pretoria (officially Tshwane) is the administrative capital of South Africa and is located in the Gauteng province. Wait—correction: Pretoria *is* in Gauteng. The previous statement was incorrect. Let me clarify:

Pretoria is located in the Gauteng province. It forms part of the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. The postal code for the Pretoria central area is 0001 or 0002 (for post office boxes). The broader Tshwane area uses codes ranging from 0001 to 0299.

Gauteng is the smallest but most densely populated province, containing both Pretoria (administrative capital) and Johannesburg (economic hub).
